Welcome to the website for the „Vladius” school of swordplay and WWM (Wolna Walka Mieczem - Free Sword Fighting) melee art system.

With the knowledge and experience we have gained from 20 years of studying a variety of martial arts, we have established our swordplay (fencing) school aimed at introducing European competitive swordsmanship. However, during training sessions we also use eastern weapons including the Japanese katana, and the Chinese jian and butterfly swords. We have also developed a melee art system, which we have called WWM (Wolna Walka Mieczem – Free Sword Fighting).

The WWM system is the result of research into both ancient and modern martial arts, studies on European and Asian fencing, and sports methodology. Thanks to the use of special certified protection pads and weapons designed specifically for our system, we have achieved maximum authenticity with minimum constraint.

We are gaining more and more enthusiasts and we are currently running classes in Bydgoszcz and Pruszcz.

Our website includes an internet shop in which you can find all the necessary WWM gear, along with products aimed at Medieval Brotherhoods and historical reenactment groups and performers.
